The Board’s primary mandate is to support the center in fulfilling its goals of spurring AI adoption and thus unlocking increased competitiveness and societal development across the region. With long-standing experience across the Nordic ecosystems and a breadth of distinguished professional perspectives, the Board is exceptionally well positioned to steer the initiative forward.

„I am truly excited to be the first chairperson of this important initiative where we plan to unlock the enormous opportunities, encourage research, development and implementation of AI, but at the same time preserve our common Nordic values; democracy, human rights and equality, in an active dialogue with businesses and policymakers in the region.“ Says Katrín Jakobsdottir, Chairperson of the board.
