Catherine brings more than 20 years of experience spanning research, industry, and policy, with a strong focus on how artificial intelligence and data-driven systems can support sustainability, resilience, and inclusive economic growth. She holds a PhD from University of Cambridge and has led research and innovation initiatives at globally recognised institutions, most recently at Imperial College London.
She is widely recognised for her work on responsible innovation, digital transformation, and building trusted ecosystems that connect academia, industry, and society. Catherine has a long-standing professional relationship with the Nordic region and speaks Swedish.
As Managing Director, she will focus on accelerating responsible AI adoption, deepening cross-border collaboration, and ensuring Nordic AI leadership remains globally competitive while aligned with social and environmental values.
