The project focuses on how data centres can support the energy transition through flexible consumption (demand response), integration with renewable energy sources, heat recovery, and energy storage or hybrid solutions. AI will be applied to forecast demand, optimise operations, and support grid management. At the same time, the project addresses key challenges such as local grid strain, competition for resources, and regulatory barriers. The project providesneutral arena for stakeholders to explore both opportunities and dilemmas.
